Sometimes a bit guard isn’t an option but you really need to improve your horse’s comfort. Bit related sores or rubs can be caused by an incorrectly fitted bit, pressure points, OR, some horses can be prone to a dry, sensitive skin.

Note: If your horse has a severe rub, allow sufficient healing time or use Bit Butter in conjunction with a bit guard.
